Chris Russell

Hawk Cricket are pleased to announce that one of our sponsored players, Chris Russell has signed a one year contract with Worcestershire County Cricket Club. Chris originates from the Isle of Wight, where he played for Ventnor CC in the Southern Electric Division before moving to the midlands to play for Wolverhampton and Worcestershire 2nd XI. Due to strong performances for both club and county, Chris has been rewarded with a contract. Everyone at Hawk Cricket wishes him all the best for the coming season.

New Bats for 2010

Hawk Cricket are pleased to announce that there will be two new additions to the Hawk range for the 2010 season. The G10 and a new ladies bat, the LPi10. These bats will be available soon so please check back soon or phone the workshop for more information.

 

County Contracts

Hawk Cricket are extremely proud to announce that 3 of our players have been offered county contracts for the 2010 season. 19 year old batsman, Matt Pardoe, has been offered a contract with Worcestershire CCC, whilst batsmen, Sam Kelsall and Ben McGuire have been offered contracts with Nottinghamshire CCC. We wish them the best of luck for next summer and hope that they winter well.

Matt Pardoe

Hawk Sponsored player Matt Pardoe, will be spending his winter 'Down Under' playing cricket for Swan Valley CC in Western Austrlia. You can follow his progress by visiting www.wastca.com.au and following the link 'MyCricket' tab, then 'Matches', then 'Fixtures', and clicking and Swan Valley results.

Ross Dixon

Hawk Cricket are pleased to announce that Hawk Sponsored player Ross Dixon won the John North Young Player of the Year award. Ross scored 344 runs and took 23 wickets in premiership games for Oxton CC, also figuring in the Cheshire Development and Cheshire Under 17 teams, while he won the man of the match award helping the league beat the Liverpool Competition in the North-West Colts Trophy final. Ross also won the Chesire Youth U17 Bowler of the Year.
